Quick poll: how did you read this? Was your initial reaction to see a bad pun or an invitation for suicide? I had some Chinese take-out over the weekend, and I got this gem in the cookie. I see the pun now, but my first reaction was to hear a horribly grim suggestion toward an introvert suffering from depression.

Marshall Warfield teaches writing courses at Drexel University and serves on the editorial board of the great literary magazine, Painted Bride Quarterly.
